We are looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist (day and night shift)
Job Description:
JMI Manufacturing is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe machinist (day and night shift). Applicants must have the ability to setup and run Mazak machines. JMI is a first class facility in an Air Conditioned shop that is very clean and well maintained.
Requirements:
- High school degree or GED. Associate Degree preferred
- 2+ years’ experience working with Mazaks
- Must be able to understand how to read prints and measure using Calipers. Programming would be a great asset.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and willing to do whatever is needed. Must be willing to work with others and have a great attitude.

- Cooperate with QA/QC personnel to maintain acceptable product quality without unnecessarily diminishing production flow
- Effectively communicates with supervisor, providing updates on run times, scheduling, and all machine related activities

Schedule:
JMI’s Schedule is based on a 40-hour week, but when we are busy there is opportunity for overtime.
- Day shift is Monday- Thursday , 6:00am – 5:00pm (11:30-12:00 lunch), Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm (11:30-12:00 lunch) and every other Saturday as business dictates, 6:00am - 11:00am
- Night shift is Monday- Thursday 5:00pm-6:00 am (8:30 pm-9:00 pm break)
- $2.00 additional pay per hour for night shift
